Transporting Household Goods

To ensure the safety and security of these commodities, your company’s Relocation Counselor coordinates all steps required in the physical move:
- Arranges a household-goods move that meets your transferred employee and family’s timetable
- Provides guidance to your employee and family on how to prepare for the shipment of household goods and personal effects
- Selects a domestic moving company (or a freight forwarder for overseas moves) that best meets the employee and family’s schedule and other requirements
- Makes arrangements for up to $75,000 "no-cost" full-replacement-valuation coverage
- Monitors all services from start to finish
- Completing surveys
- Arranging packing, loading, and delivery
- Overseeing progress while en route
- Unloading and unpacking
- Assisting in any claim follow-up and settlement
- Conducting reviews and audits
- Correcting all invoices
